Nagoya Grampus announced on 17 December the transfer of Kosuke Ota to A-League’s Perth Glory.
Ota arrived at Nagoya from FC Tokyo in 2019. The defender played 13 times in his first season, and made nine league appearances this campaign. This is the 33-year-old’s second overseas move following his previous stint in the Eredivisie with Vitesse in 2016.
Perth Glory finished 6th in the league in the 2019/20 season. They recently participated in the AFC Champions League, finishing bottom of their group that also included Tokyo.
