Yokohama F.Marinos announced on 29 October the loan transfer of Edigar Junio to V-Varen Nagasaki.
The 29-year-old Brazilian forward, who is on loan Bahia, is now contracted to the J2 outfit from 28 October 2020 to 1 January 2021. He is expected to join up with the team for training from the 29th.
Edigar Junio joined Marinos in 2019 following stints with Atletico Paranaense, Joinville and Bahia. In his first season, he scored 11 goals in 16 league games and helped the Yokohama side to the J1 title, which led to a loan extension. His output this season reads three goals in 16 games.
The reigning league champions suffered their 11th defeat of a disappointing campaign on 28 October, losing 1-3 to Sanfrecce Hiroshima. They now sit 7th in the standing.
