Shonan Bellmare announced on 14 December the loan transfer of Mitsuki Saito to Rubin Kazan.
The 21-year-old midfielder is set for a one-and-a-half year loan stint with the Russian Premier League outfit, effective from 1 January 2021 to 30 June 2022.
A player with Bellmare since his junior years, Saito was promoted to the first team in 2015, and made his J1 debut a year later while he was in his third year of high school. He has served in the capacity of captain for Japan in various age groups. His top flight football record reads 80 appearance and four goals.
Saito’s final match for Bellmare will be the home game against Oita Trinita on 16 December.
