COVID-19-hit Sagan see match postponements

Sagan Tosu, struck by 10 COVID-19 infections, are sitting out the next three J1 games, the J.League announcemed on 13 August.

The affected league matches are Sagan Tosu vs Gamba Osaka (15 Aug), Vegalta Sendai vs Sagan Tosu (19 Aug) and Sagan Tosu vs Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo (23 Aug). The replay dates were not confirmed at the time of announcement.

In addition, the Levain Cup group stage match against Sanfrecce Hiroshima that was called off on the 12th has been cancelled, since both teams were already eliminated from the competition.

Sagan, the first COVID-19 cluster in the league, have suspended club activities for the next two weeks.
