Kamada named Man of the Match

Daichi Kamada was picked Man of the Match by the Bundesliga after his match-winning performance for Eintracht Frankfurt on 30 May.

Kamada scored the decisive goal in Frankfurt’s 2-1 win over Wolfsburg on matchday 29, adding to his strike from the previous week, which earned the 23-year-old a spot in Kicker’s Team of the Week.

The Japan international’s tally for the season currently stands at 10 goals: two in Bundesliga and eight in Europa League.

“I have achieved my goal of double figures I had set for this season,” Kamada wrote on his Instagram. “I am not scoring enough in the Bundesliga though, so I will do my best to add to that in the remaining games.”
